Keira is a brand new epic commander in Rise of Kingdoms. She is one of the most anticipated commander that a lot of players have been waiting for around a year. That being said, Keira is finally out now and adds to an expanding epic commanders roster!

She is a peacekeeping commander who excels at commanding archer army. Thanks to damaging skills and talent tree that boosts the combat effectiveness when commanding archers. Keira is also one of the first commander to have a specific-skill set that does extra damage in certain events: Ian’s Ballad and Ceroli Crisis.

Currently you can’t gather commander sculptures to summon Keira, which is a big problem. Though, it’s absolutely possible for Free-to-Play players to have their hands on this brand new epic commander. Which means you will have to complete the events in order for a chance to obtain Keira to grow your commander roster.

Best Keira Commander Guide ROK

Dance of the Flametongue
Active Skill ROKDeals damage to 3 enemies at max in a forward-facing fan-shaped area. The damage will be reduced by 15% for each additional enemy.

Upgrades: Direct Damage Factor: 500/600/700/800/1000

This active skill does a serious amount of damage upwards to 3 targets. Although, the damage is reduced by 15% for each target hit, which is quite a bit of drawback when using this active skill compared to more powerful commanders like Yi Seong-Gye or Mehmed II.

Allies or Enemies
Passive Skill ROKKeira’s army will deal extra damage to Barbarians and other neutral units. If it’s during Ceroli Crisis or Ian’s Ballads, they will deal 5% more damage.

  • Bonus Damage To Barbarians: 5%/10%/17%/25%/35%
  • Damage Bonus: 5%/10%/17%/25%/35%

Does 35% extra damage to barbarians and neutral units. If you are commanding Keira’s army during Ceroli Crisis and Ian’s Ballad, they will do another 35% damage, which brings the total damage boost to an impressive 70%. Obviously way more than what Aethelflaed and Lohar currently offers in Rise of Kingdoms.

Ceroli Sharpshooter
Passive Skill ROKIncreases attack and defense of archer units in the army.

  • Archer Attack Bonus: 4%/5%/6%/8%/10%
  • Archer Defense Bonus: 4%/5%/6%/8%/10%

Increases both attack and defense of archers by a flat amount of 10% when under Keira’s leadership.

The Mutineer
Passive Skill ROKNormal attacks have a 10% chance to increase the Skill Damage dealt to the enemies by 30% for 3 seconds. During “Ceroli Crisis” and “Ian’s Ballads”, targets will receive 50% more from Skill Damage.

  • Skill Damage Taken Increased: 30%/40%/50%/60%/80%
  • Increased Skill Damage Taken (Scenario Battle): 50%/70%/90%/120%/150%

Another great passive skill is called “The Mutineer” which increases the skill damage taken for the enemies. Upwards to 80% increased damage taken from the skill which is quite lethal for an epic commander. The total damage modifier goes even further when battling in Ceroli Crisis and Ian’s Ballads event, increasing the damage done by 150%.

Undying Flames
Enhanced Skill ROKEnemies that are damaged by the Dance of the Flametongue skill will take additional continuous damage (Damage Factor 200) for 2 seconds.

Undying Flames enhances the active skill by dealing damage over time. Regardless of the damage reduction damage modifier from the active skill, it will deal 200 damage continuously for 2 seconds. This damage increases even further with The Mutineer skill, making it even more deadiler.

Best Keira Talent Trees

If you are looking for the best talent builds to use for Keira, we have assembles the best talent builds that you can use for killing barbarians / scenarios, PvP battles and even to provide field support. While it does makes sense to use Keira for scenarios / barbarians battle because that’s what she is really good at. But her passive skill which increases the damage taken from active skill is just too good not to pass for PvP battles. Here’s a list of top 3 best Keira talent builds to use:

Peacekeeping Talent Build

Best Keira Peacekeeping Talent Build ROK

The peacekeeping talent build focuses on improving the damage done to barbarians. This ensures Keira excels at what she is doing the best: killing barbarians, neutralizing the neutral units with full blunt force and extracting resource packs to satisfy your cravings. Further in the skill area accelerates the rage generation and increases the damage done which makes this talent build extremely deadly choice.

PvP Battle Talent Build

Best Keira PvP Talent Build ROK

For players who wants or plans to use Keira as their PvP commander, this talent build is actually not a bad choice at all. Because Keira comes with a passive skill which has a small chance to increase the enemy’s skill damage taken by 80%. Consider that massive boost will work exceptionally well with nukers. Though, this talent build also accelerates the speed of rage build and increases the overall damage done.

Field Talent Build

Best Keira Field Talent Build ROK

Lastly, this talent build focuses on providing support to your frontline commanders. This talent build works the best for Keira by investing all the points into improving the speed of rage, overall damage done and as well as boosting your archers’ combat capabilities. Though, majority of this talent build is focused on dishing out heavy damage using active skill often which is definitely a big boost if you are pairing up with nukers.

Best Recommended Roles (Primary / Secondary)

If you are looking for commanders to pair with, this depends on the roles you plan to place them in. For majority of the part, Keira takes the position as primary commander when it comes to battling barbarians. In PvP battles, if the command you pair with do not have archer + skill specializations, Keira will remain as the primary commander — otherwise she becomes secondary commander.

Mixed Armies

  • Balanced (Secondary)
  • Tank (Secondary)
  • Siege (Secondary)

Pure Infantry

  • Balanced (Secondary)
  • Tank (Secondary)
  • Siege (Secondary)

Pure Cavalry

  • Balanced (Secondary)
  • Tank (Secondary)
  • Siege (Secondary)

Pure Archers

  • Balanced (Primary / Secondary)
  • Tank (Primary / Secondary)
  • Siege (Secondary)

Best Secondary Commander Pairs

There’s so many great archer commanders to pair with Keira. You would be surprised to learn how really good this epic commander is. Her talent specializations makes it quite hard to move into secondary commander. Which is why I am recommending list of secondary commanders to pair with Keira. Without further ado, here’s a list:

Yi Seong-Gye

Yi Seong-Gye Commander Rise of Kingdoms

One of the best commander to pair with is Yi Seong-Gye. He is an incredible powerful nuker thanks to his active skill which can deal damage upwards to 5 targets in a circular range. One of his passive skill increases the damage done of active skill by 50%.

When you pair him with Keira that increases the damage taken from the active skills by 80%, both will be able to effectively nuke the enemies into oblivion with relative ease. Not to forget to mention that Yi Seong-Gye is great at killing barbarians as long as you maintain him as the secondary commander due to his AoE active skill and to be able to utilize Keira’s peacekeeping talent build.

Ramesses II

Ramesses II Commander

Another excellent commander to pair with is Ramesses II. He is one of the best commander to with when it comes to reducing your enemy’s defense and boosting the archers’ attacks. Which makes it an ideal combo for doing massive blows in a single-target battle.

Ramesses II is also equipped with skills which heals troops. This ability is useful in shrugging off damage inflicted by your enemies, allowing the troops to survive longer in long drawn-out battles.

Tomyris Commander Rise of Kingdoms

Tomyris is another good commander to pair and to serve as secondary role. Unlike other commanders, Tomyris whittles out arrows that deals poison damage. When she gets to use her active skill, it does a massive amount of damage plus the number of stacks that deals more damage based on how many there are on the enemy target.

Just like Ramesses II, Tomyris has a chance to increase archers’ attack and reducing the enemy’s defense. Which helps pave the path to killing your enemies the easy way.
